Welcome to Penguin Webs. We realize that the most profitable web sites are both easy to navigate and visually attractive. Visitors are looking for something ... something specific. They want to find it fast and want it to be easy on the eyes.

At Penguin Webs, we've been designing software and web sites for more than 12 years - a long time by "web" standards. We've seen fads come - and then watched them go. While a few gems continue to reflect light on the web, most sites hit the wall and then quickly slide to the floor.

Penguin Webs is an American owned web design & development firm located in Olathe, Kansas. Opening in the fall of 1994 in El Paso, Texas, we began serving the small business community in west Texas and southern New Mexico by offering custom software development.

We grew by providing affordable products - supported with honest answers and superior customer service. We soon became "the company to call" when our clients had any software or hardware need. Whether it was a need for computer hardware (sales, installation, repair and maintenance) or software (needs analysis, custom design, implementation / integration), we came through again and again for our customers. No project was to big - no question insignificant.

As we grew, we provided these services to larger businesses and border twin-plant operations (El Paso / Juarez) including Johnson & Johnson, Stone Container, Manufacturers Folding Carton, and the El Paso Cancer Treatment Center - while maintaining our base of smaller manufacturing companies, doctors offices, accounting firms and individuals.

As the Internet became more and more a part of the business world, our clients needed a company that could help them transition into this new arena and support all of their web needs. We listened to this request and quickly began to broaden our experience and products to encompass the world wide web. Designing both internet and intranet solutions for our clients steadily became the bulk of our business. We approached web design and development with the same honesty and integrity that our clients had grown to expect.

In August of 2001, we relocated to Olathe, Kansas and added the necessary servers, technology and connectivity to allow us to become a full-service web hosting firm. Today (2007) while we continue to design custom software, our primary focus is to provide website design and development to our clients. We do not actively market our web hosting capabilities to the public, having chosen instead to reserve them for our clients so that we can offer complete web services to our customers.
