Preparing for the Design Meeting
Some things to consider in preparation for the initial design meeting are:
- Who is your intended audience ? (There might be more than one group.)
- What information do you already have that your customers need to know ?
- What sets you above your competition when a customer places an order ?
- What features can a web presence provide that will add valuable service to your business and facilitate customer service ?
- What are the extra “little things” that you wish you could let each customer know when they place an order ? (examples: current promotions, additional suggested products, price breaks at higher quantities, etc.)
- What are the most frequently asked questions from your customers?
- Could an on-line production schedule aide your customers in their planning and reduce the number of phone calls yours staff must process ?
