Apache Web Servers

The Apache Web Server Project is an open-source web (http) server for modern operating systems including our Windows 2003 Servers. Apache 2 provides a secure, efficient web server that provides HTTP services in sync with current HTTP standards.

Apache has been the most popular web server on the Internet since April of 1996. In November of 2005, a Web Server Survey found that more than 70% of the web sites on the Internet are using Apache, which means that it is more widely used than all other web servers combined.
